May blog

dear Readers and bloggers. Been haiving a bit of trouble with PC but I hope all is well now. My last blog was at Christmas which practically ruined me financially as my large family all had to be bought presents. Good time all the same. New news no book out this year, not well last year had an op for gall stones, All well now. New book underway but not yet finished, will be published next year. My new paperback will be out at Christmas (Gordon let your mum know.)

Peter, (partner) has had to have his mum enter a home albiet a lovely home. She is ninety four and at least we know she's safe and well cared for. He is away at the moment and I'm really missing him. He phones every night and tells me how much he misses me, loves me etc. 'Don't tell the mums this they'll think I'm soppy and sentimental.

Family news great I have a new grandson, my son Paul' and his wife Maria's first, a lovely little boy his name is Joseph Paul and I love him to bits.

Speak soon,

Love Iris

Kingdom's Dream
Kingdom's Dream
(The fifth book in the Potters series)

Lovely Katie Cullen is all alone in the world. Her mam has died, and Swansea is now no fit place for a young girl on her own. The navvies who are building the new railway roam the streets on pay day looking for trouble, and the peaceful outskirts are transformed into a shanty town as the silver track wends its way to the town centre. So when Katie meets handsome Bull Beynon, the foreman of the railway builders, she falls in love with him at once and longs to be protected by him. But Bull has his own woman, the spirited Rhiannon who lives with him in their simple shack by the side of the railway track. Katie and Rhiannon find that they are caught in a network of lies and deceit as their lives become interwined with those of the women at the Mainwaring Pottery. Secrets and love affairs bring tragedy in their wake in the town now dominated by the monster they call the Great Western Railway.
